Our 5 days complete windsurfing course for beginners in Bol island of Brac - Croatia is specifically targeted for those who have never windsurfed before or those who have already taken some windsurfing lessons but feel they need to start over. The equipment used for the lessons has been specifically designed for beginners (wide and high volume boards that are completely stable and easy to sail, therefore ideal for beginners) enabling your faster progress.
Zoo station bol windsurfing school begins from June until the end of September. The minimal number of students in the group is 4 and maximum is 16. All students must know basic English as well as how to swim.
Zoo station bol windsurfing school uses fanatic windsurfing equipment. For purpose of this program we will be using fanatic viper school version (...the Viper epitomizes all components needed to take the progressing rider from zero to hero.) and fanatic school rig (...a sail that is light, durable, easy to use).

If you are beginner easiest way to begin windsurfing is to start with viper
Kids from 5 years old are ready to start windsurfing. It is required that they know how to swim and have enough strength to hold the sail. Sails that we teach kids are specially designed for them. They are extremely light and small. We will be using fanatic sails for youngsters from 1.5m2. Course start in the morning at 9 am when there is "no" wind, ideal time for youngsters for learning windsurfing in Bol.

Bol is the best summer location for windsurfing in Croatia. Windsurfing season begins from June and ends up in September. During the day there is thermic wind called Mistral (steady wind) ideal for beginners and pros because it usually starts very light and becomes strong later afternoon. Before mistral, from 9 am till 11 am there is a light eastern wind called Levante ideal for first-time learners because it is very light, steady and no waves (flat sea). Around 12 o'clock usually, there is no wind, a period when Levante stops and changes in afternoon to Mistral. Levante and Mistral are both side shore winds, both allowing easy entry. Warm sea with light wind and flat water and in the morning makes Bol ideal for first-time beginners to start learning windsurfing.
